Med-I-Assist is the prescription assistance program that AccessHealth Lowcountry has partnered with to help you with your medication needs. Med-I-Assist also is able to help with eye exams and prescription glasses. They have three locations within Beaufort and Jasper Counties.

- Assistance with enrollment into the various pharmaceutical-indigent patient assistance programs.
- Assistance with obtaining an eye exams & purchasing prescription eyeglasses
- Assistance with locating a primary care provider

- Men, women and children of all ages who are unable to afford health and medical support services.
What Can Med-I-Assist Do?
- Assign you a “patient advocate”
- Help you find a physician
- Listen to you and help you find out what your health needs are
- Guide you in completing applications to pharmaceutical assistance programs
How Do I Apply?
- Call (843) 846-8703 for an appointment at the Seabrook location
- Walk-in between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Tuesdays & Thursdays at the Bluffton Community Center
- Walk-in between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Tuesdays at the Jasper County Hunger Free Zone
What does Med-I-Assist Cost?
- Nothing - Our services are free of charge
